We are dog-friendly

We absolutely adore our four-legged visitors at Platform - the well-behaved ones, specially the ones who think they're human.

To keep tails wagging and humans comfy, our dog-friendly seating needs to be pre-booked. When you book, please pop a note in to let us know your furry companion is joining. If you can tell us how many dogs and their size, that helps us make sure everyone gets the perfect spot - from tiny pups to majestic sofa-hugging giants.

Please inform us beforehand if you have an allergy to dogs.​

Group bookings

For groups of 7 and over, please email us at stationmaster@platformrestaurant.co.uk and we will book you in manually. We kindly request a non-refundable deposit for group bookings of 7 and over. We will generally use the Beeching carriage for group bookings.

One week before your group booking, please direct your guests to the menus page of our website and request their food choices, then kindly forward these onto us in one email, including dietary requirements. ​​​

Afternoon tea

To book afternoon tea, please use the booking form on this page, selecting your preferred date (Saturdays only) and starting time (from 1-3pm), then select Afternoon Tea instead of Lunch and follow the instructions. We kindly request a £5 per person deposit for Afternoon Tea.
