A little bit of Platform fame
Platform Restaurant and our historic railway carriages have been lucky enough to be featured on a few TV programmes.
Escape to the Country
We were delighted to be featured on Series 25, Episode 15 of Escape to the Country, showcasing our rather unique little corner of West Bay.
The Gadget Show on Channel 5
Our historic WW1 Brunel carriage became a filming location for The Gadget Show, welcoming presenters Jon Bentley and Ortis Deley aboard for the episode.
Broadchurch
With the spectacular Jurassic Coast providing the backdrop for the hit television drama Broadchurch, we were delighted to welcome members of the production during filming.
And some well known faces
We’ve also been incredibly fortunate to welcome many well-known faces through our doors, including:
Martin Clunes
David Tennant
Hugh Laurie
Olivia Colman
Ricky Groves
Sir Lenny Henry
Pauline Quirke
Jodie Whittaker
William Sitwell
Famous face or not, everyone who steps aboard is welcomed in exactly the same way — as part of the Platform family.
There really are a few stories these old carriages could tell …
