Murder Mystery Nights

Our Murder Mystery evenings in West Bay have become one of the most popular events in the area since we first launched them in 2019.

Guests travel from Bridport and across Dorset to enjoy an evening of immersive theatre, great food and plenty of laughs in our unique old railway station setting.

Join us for one of our themed murder mystery events, where you will enjoy a delicious three-course dinner while professional actors bring a story to life around you. You can be as involved in the investigation as you like – simply sit back and soak up the atmosphere or get fully stuck in and try to solve “whodunnit” before anyone else.

These nights regularly sell out, making them a brilliant choice for birthdays, get-togethers with friends, work socials and special occasions in West Bay and Bridport.

Our cosy carriages and station building create an unforgettable backdrop for an evening of intrigue, suspense and fun on the Dorset coast.

  • Friday 25th September 2026: You Only Die Once – Trainee spies investigate the death of a top agent on a mission. Can Premium Bond save the day?

  • Friday 30th October 2026: Halloween theme TBC

  • 27th November 2026: theme TBC

  • 18th December 2026: Stocking Killers - Christmas novelty manufacturer Halls hosts a party, despite a sales down-turn. Will someone deck the Halls before the night is out?

  • 29th January 2027: Carrion Doctor – A doctor’s surgery is holding a dinner for staff, but not everyone has the best wishes of the patients at heart. Will Dr Dicky Ticker survive the night?

  • 26th February 2027: Offside – It’s been a disappointing season for the local football team, tensions rise when the fan club decide to honour the clubs former star striker!

  • 25th March 2027: Murdered by the Mob - The Long Good Friday – Set during the prohibition in Chicago, the murder of a notorious gangster leads to tension and accusations!

  • 2nd April 2027: Wham Bam – The drinks are free at Club Tropicana, but the arrival of a famous band puts the owner all in a tizz!
